A Bid for Stardom, affectionately known as “Bid,” is a 2007 Thoroughbred mare who holds approval from the American Trakehner Association and is registered in the Main Mare Book with OldenburgNA / ISR. Although she never raced, Bid had a brief but promising career under saddle, which was unfortunately cut short due to an injury that launched her successful journey as a broodmare. She has consistently been an outstanding producer, yielding exceptional, athletic, and amateur-friendly foals, leading her to remain a cherished broodmare rather than returning to riding. Bid undeniably exceeds expectations in her offspring’s abilities, and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts for helping us produce our first homebred, Chilli Star. Chilli is now happily owned by an adult amateur rider on the east coast. He successfully qualified for the YEH championships at Maryland 5* in 2024. Although he did not attend the event due to his sale, we are confident he would have showcased remarkable competitiveness!

2012 Mare “ABright Star” by Pavoratti (Trak) was competing preliminary with a JR/YR by age 6! Now running Modified and dabbling in the 1.10m jumpers.

2015 Mare “ABright Reality” By Pavoratti (Trak) now showing 3′ Hunters and Equitation

2017 Gelding “Aberstar” by Aberjack – 2nd place 3yr Colt FEH Champs and showing Novice level eventing with his YR.

2019 Gelding ” Chilli Star” by Coronado (Chilli Morning) (OldNa/Isr) YEH Fan Favorite 2023, qualified for YEH Champs at Maryland 5* in 2024, ready for training level and now sold to a doting adult amateur who loves him dearly!

2021 Gelding “Welly HC” by Gemstone Clover (RID) (Custom foal) just starting his under saddle career and has been such a sweet and willing boy!
