Hidden Creek Ranch

Bazooka, affectionately known as “Zelda,” is an imported DSP mare with an accomplished performance record and proven history as a broodmare.

Prior to entering the broodmare band, Bazooka enjoyed a successful sport career, competing in the jumper ring through 1.35m. Toward the end of her performance career, she also transitioned into eventing and competed through Training Level, showcasing the athleticism, versatility, and work ethic that made her such a special mare.

Before coming to Hidden Creek Ranch, Bazooka produced two striking buckskin foals by the renowned hunter stallion Creme de la Creme. Both went on to begin successful careers under saddle, demonstrating the quality, athleticism, and temperament we hoped Bazooka would bring to our own breeding program.

Bazooka later joined Hidden Creek Ranch with plans to continue her career as a broodmare. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, she did not produce a foal for HCR. With her wellbeing always taking priority, the decision was made to permanently retire her from breeding.

Retired from Breeding

While our plans for Bazooka did not unfold quite as we had hoped, we are still grateful to have had the opportunity to own and care for such an accomplished mare. Her successful performance career, versatility across disciplines, and previously produced offspring speak for themselves.

Bazooka is now permanently retired from breeding and enjoying the retirement she has more than earned.
