Danza P is a 2010 Trakehner mare and one of the cornerstone mares of the Hidden Creek Ranch breeding program. Approved with both TANA and ATA, Danza combines an exceptional temperament, expressive movement, proven performance, and—most importantly—a growing record as a producer.
Danza’s own story is somewhat unusual. Due to the passing of her breeder, she remained virtually untouched until seven years of age. Despite her late start, she quickly demonstrated both her trainability and natural athletic ability. In her first year of dressage competition, Danza earned the title of 2022 USDF All-Breed Adult Amateur Training Level Champion. She later progressed to First Level, consistently earning scores above 70%.
Danza is equally impressive away from home. She trailers, travels, and settles into the show environment with the confidence of a seasoned competitor—even when traveling alone. Her willing temperament and amateur-friendly nature are qualities we especially value and hope to preserve in her offspring.
The P following Danza’s name denotes her successful completion of the ATA Mare Performance Test. At her TANA inspection, she earned an overall score of 53.5, including an 8.5 for Type and 8s for both Frame and Walk. She was named a Premium Mare Candidate and Reserve High-Scoring Mare of her inspection.
Danza has proven that her quality carries forward to the next generation. Her first foal, D’Artagnan HC by Inamorato Pb, was awarded premium as a foal and later became an approved breeding stallion before ultimately being gelded. Her second foal, Dionysus HC by Apollo Sun Pb, continued the quality and exceptional character we have come to expect from Danza. In 2026, she produced Dream Come True HC by EH Singolo—a filly we were thrilled to retain for the future of our program.
With her own performance record, strong inspection results, exceptional character, and proven ability to produce quality offspring, Danza represents exactly what we strive for in a Hidden Creek Ranch broodmare.
